Mother's Day Guide
In the short time since I became a mom, I have learned more than I ever thought possible (more on that later, because it deserves its own post entirely!) One thing I can tell you, is that moms are all about practicality. So when it comes to gift-giving I always give this advice: get her something that she can 1. Use every day, or 2. Have as a lifelong memory or keepsake.
All of the items on this list fall under category 1. I wanted to focus on gifts that I feel will add some luxury into the day-to-day craziness that is being a mom. In honor of my first Mother’s Day, I am sharing the items that are currently on top of my wish list! You don’t have to be a mom to enjoy this stuff — this is truly a great gift guide for any of the lovely ladies in your life!
Ladies: make it easy on yourself and send this to anyone who may be looking to buy you something special in the future. If you have a birthday or anniversary coming up, or just want to treat yourself to something nice, these would be a perfect way to add a little every day luxury to your life.
Because if there is one thing I know to be true in this life, it is that women love candles. This is my all time favorite and I will never tire of it, and I can almost guarantee that the second you smell it you will never want another candle again! It’s scent is so fragrant it will leave your entire house smelling fantastic for hours after you stop burning it. Ever step into an Anthropologie and wonder what in the heck they do to make it smell like heaven in there 24/7? Look no further! The Capri Blue Volcano candle is the answer. Additionally, I truly feel this is an all-season candle. Is there anything worse than having to search for new candles for different times of year, or put away a candle because it has outlived its current season? I have never felt that way about the Volcano scent. I could never buy another candle again and be 100% content with this one.
02. Mad Jewels x COF “Mama” Bracelet
Remember those rainbow letter beads we all used to make our first personalized jewelry as a kid!? This bracelet is the perfect mix of sweet childhood nostalgia and modern style. Because of the beautiful blush stone beads, it can be dressed up or it would make a great addition to your everyday jewelry collection! Plus, it’s part of a collaboration between a super fun jewelry company and one of my very favorite bloggers! :)
03. Ember Temperature Control Ceramic Mug
This one should be pretty self-explanatory; Because you don’t have to be a mom to know that there is nothing worse than a cup of coffee that needs to be microwaved 10 times before you finish it. Bonus: They also make a Travel Mug if you prefer to keep your coffee hot on the go!

I can almost guarantee that every girl reading this has at least one robe hanging up at home, and, if she’s anything like me, she’s had it forever and wears it almost every single day. Time to invest in a new forever robe! The fabric on this robe will make you want to wear it every second you can get. It is crazy soft, yet somehow lightweight enough to wear while you get ready on those hot summer mornings! Believe me when I say, once you feel this fabric you will want to replace everything in your house with it! (See item #5).
05. Barefoot Dreams Cozychic Throw
Look know further if you know a mama that is always cold. Chances are, she probably keeps a blanket (or 5) in every room, but after she feels this blanket she will never want another again! The silky soft material makes you feel like you’re being hugged by a baby bunny. And no, you’re not reading it wrong, I really did include two Barefoot Dreams items on this list. With this brand, you will find that most of their robes and throw blankets are in the $100-200 price range, however if you are looking for something at a lower price point do not be discouraged! They make everything from socks to cardigans, and you really cannot go wrong with a single thing. This is a perfect “gifting” brand, which is exactly why ⅓ of my wish list is Barefoot Dreams!
06. Plum Pretty Sugar Oracle Short Pajamas
I am a firm believer that you will always have a better night’s sleep when you feel both comfortable AND beautiful when you get into bed. This pajama set does just that! Plum Pretty Sugar not only makes some of the cutest floral robes (perfect for bridesmaids gifts!) but also has a pajama set for every season and occasion! I love this pastel floral pattern for spring and summer.
